to tastefresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
In a large, mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, oregano, sea salt, and black pepper. Stir the mixture well to create a flavorful marinade.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl, ensuring they are all coated with the marinade. Toss the wings thoroughly so each piece is evenly covered. For optimal flavor, let them marinate for at least 30 minutes or place them in the refrigerator for a few hours if you have the time.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for approximately 5 minutes, ensuring it reaches the right temperature for cooking.
Arrange the marinated wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Be careful not to overcrowd the basket, as this will affect cooking. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the wings in batches.
Cook the wings in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to promote even crispiness. They should emerge golden brown and delectably crispy.
After the wings have cooked, carefully remove them from the air fryer and place them in a large serving bowl.
While the wings are still warm, generously sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over them. Toss gently to ensure the cheese melts and clings beautifully to the wings for a rich, savory coating.
Finish with a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley on top for a burst of color and an added layer of fresh flavor.
Notes
Serve with lemon wedges for a zesty touch.
