Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, almond flour, minced garlic, beaten egg, oregano, basil, and a good pinch of salt and pepper.
Using your hands, gently mix the ingredients together until thoroughly combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatballs tough.
Scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place each meatball on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and beautifully golden brown on the outside.
Meanwhile, while the meatballs bake, pour the marinara sauce into a saucepan and heat it over medium heat, stirring occasionally until warmed through.
Once the meatballs are fully cooked, gently transfer them to the saucepan with the marinara sauce. Allow them to simmer together for about 5 minutes, letting the meatballs soak in the rich flavors of the sauce.
Serve the meatballs hot, sprinkled with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.
Notes
For a gourmet touch, sprinkle additional grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
