to tastefresh cilantro leaves or finely sliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for roasting.
Place the halved Brussels sprouts in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over them, then season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Toss the sprouts thoroughly until they are evenly coated with the oil and seasoning.
In a separate small bowl, combine the honey, Sriracha sauce, and minced garlic. Whisk together until the mixture is smooth and all the ingredients are incorporated well.
Pour the Sriracha honey glaze over the seasoned Brussels sprouts. Using a spatula, gently toss the sprouts again to ensure they are completely coated with the delicious glaze.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the sheet. Roast them in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until they become tender and caramelized. Be sure to stir the sprouts halfway through to promote even cooking and browning.
After roasting, remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven. Immediately sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and garnish with chopped cilantro or finely sliced green onions for vibrant color and added flavor. Serve them hot as a delightful side dish.
Notes
Adjust the amount of Sriracha to taste for desired spiciness.
